Terms of service
Last updated July 22, 2026
Agreement to terms
By accessing or using Atlas Securities Index, operated by BC Holdings LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Notice of these Terms appears in the footer of every page and beside the exam-sequence planner.
Version 1.0, effective July 22, 2026. Where these Terms refer to "the service," they mean this website and every tool, page, and document published on it.
Description of service
Atlas Securities Index is an independent research and comparison site for securities licensing exam preparation. We publish provider reviews scored under our CHART methodology, head-to-head comparisons, exam guides, and an exam-sequence planner. We do not sell exam prep, administer exams, or provide licensing services.
Scores, rankings, and editorial opinion
CHART scores, rankings, verdicts, strengths-and-considerations summaries, and any statement that one provider suits a given purpose better than another are the opinions of Atlas Securities Index. They rest on the disclosed facts published alongside them and on the rubric published at our methodology page.
The choice of the five CHART dimensions, the four sub-options within each, and the weight each carries are matters of editorial judgment on which reasonable people can and do disagree. A different rubric would produce a different ranking. Nothing in a score is a statement of fact about a provider's business, financial condition, competence, or integrity.
Every overall score is derived arithmetically from sub-scores published on the same page, so any reader can inspect the underlying facts and reach a different conclusion. Scores state our assessment as of the date shown. Providers change their products, and a score reproduced elsewhere or captured from an earlier version of this site may have been superseded.
We are not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or sponsored by any provider we review, and we do not sell exam preparation or compete with the providers we cover. Provider names and marks are used nominatively to identify the products under review.
Corrections and disputed content
If you are a provider we cover, or any party who believes published content about you is factually inaccurate, send a written request for correction to hello@atlassecuritiesindex.com. Identify the specific statement, the page URL, the date of publication, why it is inaccurate, and the primary source that establishes the correct fact.
We will review the request against that primary source and respond within 10 business days. Where we confirm an error we will correct it and note the correction on the page, and where a correction changes an input to a CHART score, the score is recalculated.
You agree that submitting such a request, and allowing 30 days for us to respond and correct, is a condition precedent to commencing any arbitration, action, or proceeding arising from published content. This provision is intended to satisfy any applicable statutory request-for-correction, clarification, or retraction requirement.
Not investment, legal, career, or regulatory advice
Nothing on this site is investment advice, legal advice, career advice, tax advice, or regulatory guidance.
We are an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with FINRA, NASAA, the SEC, any state securities regulator, any self-regulatory organization, or any broker-dealer or investment adviser. Nothing here constitutes a recommendation to pursue a particular registration, accept a particular role, or transact in any security.
Exam requirements, fees, formats, and eligibility rules change. Always confirm current requirements directly with the administering body (FINRA or NASAA) and, where relevant, with your sponsoring firm and state regulator before making decisions.
Exam-sequence planner disclaimer
The exam-sequence planner is an informational tool. It maps common licensing paths from publicly documented FINRA and NASAA requirements and runs entirely in your browser. Its output is a general starting point, not a determination of what you personally must take.
Your actual requirements depend on your role, your firm, your state, and your registration history. The planner does not account for individual circumstances, waivers, reciprocity, or firm-specific policies. Verify your path with the administering body and your sponsoring firm.
No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee that using any provider we review, or following any guidance on this site, will result in passing an exam, obtaining a registration, or securing employment. Exam outcomes depend on your own preparation and circumstances. Pass-rate figures published by providers should be understood as provider claims. They are not verified by us, and no administering body publishes official pass rates for these exams.
Information accuracy
Our editorial standard is to check factual claims against a primary source before publication and to record the source and access date in our research records. That standard describes how we work; it is not a warranty. Facts change, sources conflict, and errors occur. We make no representation that every claim on this site has been verified or is currently accurate, and you should confirm anything material to your decision with the administering body or the provider directly.
If you find an error, please tell us at hello@atlassecuritiesindex.com. We review reports we receive and correct errors we are able to confirm.
User conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
- Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code, or impersonate any person or entity
- Access the site by automated means for any purpose other than search indexing or answer generation permitted by our robots directives. Scraping, harvesting, systematic downloading, or bulk extraction of our scores, rubric, comparison tables, or written analysis, including to train a commercial model or build a competing database, is prohibited without our prior written consent
- Use our scores, rankings, or name in advertising, marketing, or promotional material without our prior written consent
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure
- Reproduce or republish our scores, rubric, or written analysis as your own

Affiliate relationships
Where an affiliate relationship is active, we may earn a commission when you use our links, at no additional cost to you. Our affiliate disclosure page is the authoritative statement of which relationships exist at any given time. Commission rates are not an input to our scores, which derive arithmetically from published rubric data points.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Atlas Securities Index and BC Holdings LLC expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Title and non-infringement
- That the service will meet your requirements
- That the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- That results obtained from use of the service will be accurate or reliable
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Atlas Securities Index, BC Holdings LLC, and their respective affiliates, members, officers, directors, employees, agents, authors, contributors, licensors, and suppliers for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
In no event shall Atlas Securities Index or BC Holdings LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
- Your use of or inability to use the service
- Any decisions made based on our content, scores, or planner output
- Any third-party conduct or content
These limitations apply even if any limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You acknowledge that you have read this limitation of liability, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Atlas Securities Index, BC Holdings LLC, and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
Dispute resolution and arbitration
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. This arbitration agreement evidences a transaction involving interstate commerce and is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
Notice of dispute first: before commencing arbitration, the initiating party must send the other a written description of the claim and the relief sought, to the email address below, and the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve it for 60 days after receipt.
Any dispute concerning the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this arbitration agreement, including whether a claim is subject to arbitration, shall be decided by the arbitrator and not by a court, except that a court shall decide whether the class action waiver below is enforceable. Arbitration will be conducted in the county of your residence or, at your election, by telephone, videoconference, or on documents only. Fees are allocated under the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules.
Class action waiver:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and Atlas Securities Index (BC Holdings LLC) agree that any proceedings to resolve disputes will be conducted solely on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action, class-wide arbitration, or any other representative proceeding.
If the class action waiver is found unenforceable as to any claim or request for relief, this entire arbitration agreement is null and void as to that claim or request, which shall instead proceed in court. In no event shall arbitration proceed on a class, collective, consolidated, or representative basis.
Small claims exception: either party may bring an individual action in small claims court. Either party may also bring an action in court solely for injunctive relief to protect intellectual property rights. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking public injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction, and no provision here waives any right to seek such relief in any forum.
If any claim is found not subject to arbitration, each party knowingly and irrevocably waives any right to trial by jury as to that claim. Any claim must be brought within one year of the date it accrued, to the extent permitted by law.
Opt-out: you may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice within 30 days of first accepting these Terms to hello@atlassecuritiesindex.com.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For any disputes not subject to arbitration, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in the District of Columbia.
Nothing in this section waives, and we expressly preserve, any defense, immunity, special motion to dismiss, or special motion to strike available under the District of Columbia Anti-SLAPP Act (D.C. Code section 16-5501 et seq.) or the anti-SLAPP or similar statute of any other jurisdiction, or any protection under 47 U.S.C. section 230.
These Terms create no rights in any third party. No provider, publisher, or other person named or reviewed on this site is an intended beneficiary of these Terms.
Intellectual property
All content on Atlas Securities Index, including text, graphics, logos, and the CHART methodology, is the property of BC Holdings LLC or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not republish our pages in full, extract our data in bulk, or present our analysis as your own.
Citation is welcome: you may quote short excerpts and cite our scores and findings, including in journalism and research, with clear attribution to Atlas Securities Index and a link to the page you drew from. No prior permission is needed for that use.
Third-party trademarks: SIE and Securities Industry Essentials are registered trademarks of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). North American Securities Administrators Association and NASAA are claimed as marks by that association. Provider names and logos are the property of their respective owners. Use of these marks is nominative and does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
Copyright complaints
This site publishes no user-submitted content: everything published here is our own work or is used to identify and discuss the products under review. (Email addresses submitted to our opt-in list are covered by the Privacy Policy, not published.) If you believe something we published infringes your copyright, email hello@atlassecuritiesindex.com identifying the work, the URL where it appears, and your relationship to the work. We review such reports promptly and remove material where a claim is substantiated.

The site links to third-party websites, including exam prep providers and regulators. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Accessing them is at your own risk.

Accessibility
We are working toward conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA and do not represent that the site currently conforms in every respect. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email hello@atlassecuritiesindex.com and we will respond within 5 business days and work with you to provide the information you need in an accessible form.
Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid while preserving its original intent, and the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties regarding the service, and you acknowledge that you have not relied on any representation not expressly set out in them. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and affiliate disclosure, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service.
