Found something wrong?
Corrections are the messages we most want to receive. Our standard is to check each factual claim against a primary source before it publishes and to record the source and access date in our research files. Where something cannot be verified we leave it out and log it rather than publishing it. That process catches a lot and will not catch everything, so if a price, exam fee, guarantee condition, or feature is wrong or has changed, tell us what you found and where.
We re-check the primary source, correct what is wrong, and update the record. If a correction changes a provider's CHART score, the score changes with it.
If you work for a provider we cover
We welcome corrections to factual errors about your product, notice of pricing or feature changes, and offers of trial or demo access so we can evaluate your platform hands-on rather than from documentation. Our methodology page discloses which providers we assessed hands-on and which we assessed from documentation, and access changes that.
What we will not do is adjust a score in exchange for a commercial relationship. Scores derive arithmetically from published rubric data points, and our affiliate disclosure records every relationship that exists.
Press and research requests
Journalists covering securities licensing, exam prep, or the path into the industry are welcome to use our published data with attribution, and to ask for the underlying research. We can speak to how the rubric works and what the research found.
Privacy and legal
Privacy requests, including access, deletion, and opt-out under the CCPA or GDPR, go to the same address. See our privacy policy and terms of service for the details.
What we cannot help with
We are an independent publisher, not a regulator, a prep provider, or an advisor. We cannot tell you whether you personally must take a given exam, intervene in a dispute with a provider or firm, register you for an exam, or advise on investments or your career. For requirement questions, FINRA and NASAA are authoritative, and your sponsoring firm governs your specific case.
