Our verdict

Achievable is the strongest budget option we evaluated: a genuinely well-written textbook, a modern adaptive platform, and honest pricing at $79 to $199 per exam. Its ceiling is self-study. There are no live classes, no tutors, and candidate reports consistently say its practice questions undershoot the difficulty of the harder exams (the SIE is the exception, where its practice runs harder than the real thing). Best fit: readers on a budget, especially first-timers starting with the SIE.

  • There is no true free trial: expect a preview of roughly eight textbook pages plus public freebies. The free full-length practice exam on their site is the best way to evaluate before buying

Yes, with a real condition: if you passed at least one of their full-length practice exams within the standard time but failed the actual exam, you qualify for a refund by sending your score report and a valid ID (per Achievable's FAQ, accessed July 16, 2026).

All five exams we review: SIE, Series 7, Series 63, Series 65, and Series 66, each as a separate one-year course. They also offer Series 6, 9, and 10, but not the Series 24 or 79 (verified July 16, 2026).
