Exam-by-exam breakdown

How Kaplan and Pass Perfect stack up for each exam, from our research dossiers and the published CHART scores.

Pass Perfect includes live review and instructor support at a price near Kaplan's bare-bones Basic. Kaplan's bank and platform are stronger; Pass Perfect's base package is more complete. Budget buyers who still want humans in the loop lean Pass Perfect.

Kaplan's entry tier undercuts Pass Perfect on the 7, and its QBank explanations are the best we evaluated. Pass Perfect fires back with famously hard practice finals, live review at every tier, and a guarantee Kaplan simply doesn't offer on the securities side.

Both are cheap here. Kaplan is cheaper still at entry; Pass Perfect bundles more support per dollar. Pure self-studiers can flip a coin; support-seekers take Pass Perfect.

Pass Perfect's live review plus a real guarantee is a strong package for self-funded advisors, and Kaplan's 65 realism is the debated one. Kaplan still wins on bank depth and structured study plans.

Similar to the 65 with tighter pricing. Pass Perfect's harder mocks and guarantee suit retakers; Kaplan suits candidates pairing the 66 with its Series 7 program.
